Artist's Statement:
I don't know regular life from art. But I do know that if something is boring and then you call it art, it is still boring.
Bio:
Charlie attended Nitidai University in Tokyo and Washington State University getting a bachelor's degree in fine arts. Since then he has supported himself by being a painter, performance artist, video artist, sculptor, and inventor. His performances and works have been featured on the Tonight Show, American Comedy Awards, and on dozens of TV shows and commercials in more than 14 countries. He is known globally for his nose act and his Keyboard Cat videos and performances garnering over 50 million You Tube views. His works have been featured in Newseek, Time, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and literally dozens of other national and international publications. His cat is currently starring in national commercials for Starburst Candy and Wonderful Pistachios in the US and several others overseas. Now Charlie can't stop painting and making cat videos and hot rods.
